Cookie Policy

Version 2026-09-23 · Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) and the Italian Data Protection Authority's cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021

In short. www.quantirica.com uses no cookies: no technical, analytics, profiling or third-party cookies. It only stores the language you choose, in your browser. That is why the site shows no banner and asks for no consent.

1. Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser and that the browser sends back to the site on every visit. Besides cookies, a site can store information in the browser's local storage (localStorage): unlike cookies, this data is not sent to the server and stays on your device. Under the law, both are "tracking tools" and follow the same rules.

2. What this site uses

The Site sets no cookies. It only uses one value in your browser's local storage, to remember the language you chose:

NameTypePurposeDuration
qa-langlocalStorage, first-party, technicalremember the language chosen (IT/EN) with the switcher or by dismissing the language noticeuntil you delete it

This value contains no personal data, does not identify you and is not sent to us or anyone else.

Consent is only required for tracking tools that are not strictly necessary. The value used by the Site serves only to provide the feature you asked for, namely seeing the Site in the language you chose: it is therefore a technical tool exempt from consent (Article 122(1) of the Italian Privacy Code). As it has no analytics, profiling or third-party cookies, the Site does not need to show a banner.

4. Third parties

The Site does not embed third-party content that could set cookies: no embedded YouTube videos, social buttons, maps, chat widgets, advertising pixels or fonts loaded from external servers. Fonts, images and scripts are hosted on the Site itself.

The Site only contains links to other sites (LinkedIn, YouTube, tickerexplorer.com and Quantirica's portal). When you open them you leave www.quantirica.com and those sites' cookie policies apply. The portal, where registration and purchases take place, is covered by its own policy.

5. How to delete your preference

You can delete the saved language at any time by clearing the data of www.quantirica.com in your browser settings (usually under "Privacy", "Cookies and site data" or "Browsing data"). On your next visit the Site will again suggest the version in your browser's language.

6. Changes

If the Site uses different tools in the future, for example for visitor statistics, we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before enabling them. The version in force, with its date, is always published on this page.

7. Controller and contact

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Cookie Policy is governed by Italian law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Ferrara, Italy. This is without prejudice to your right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, to bring proceedings before the courts of the Member State where you reside (Article 79 GDPR) and, if you are a consumer, to the mandatory jurisdiction of the courts of your place of residence or domicile.
